Chiropractors

Dr. Amanda Church

Chiropractor, Acupuncture provider, Clinical Director

Dr. Amanda Church is a skilled chiropractor, a dedicated mother, and a passionate hockey enthusiast. With a deep commitment to promoting holistic well-being, she combines her expertise in chiropractic care with her love for sports and family to create a well rounded and compassionate approach to healthcare. She attended St. Francis Xavier University where she played varsity hockey and completed her degree in Human Kinetics. She furthered her career at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. While completing her degree she spent time working as a trainer for multiple football teams most notable the Oshawa Hawkeyes. 



Dr. Amanda Church has been servicing the Oshawa/Courtice area for over 10 years in rehabilitation and family practice clinics. She works closely with medial doctors to ensure a better continuity of care. Dr. Amanda Church uses a variety of techniques including manual adjustment, tool assisted adjustments, acupuncture, cupping, active release techniques and McKenzie Protocol. 


Dr. John Gallo

Chiropractor

Dr. John Gallo graduated from the University of Western Ontario in London, with a degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences in 2004. He then completed his Doctorate degree in Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto in 2008. John was born, raised, and still resides in Oshawa and has been practicing solely within the Durham Region for over 15 years. He has vast experience dealing with patient care; as well as being involved in numerous management and clinical operations, to further promote healthcare growth and development in our region.


John is an evidence-based Chiropractor utilizing diversified techniques and spinal manipulation

for optimal care. Overall, his treatments assist with acute/chronic pain, motion limitations, functional restrictions, postural issues, and various health concerns or injuries related to the muscles and joints throughout the spine and extremities. Specifically, John utilizes spinal manipulation, soft tissue techniques, joint stretching or mobilizations, manual traction, modalities, and self-directed exercise programs as different treatment options when working with his patients. Throughout his career, he has excelled by listening and caring for patients with a positive and respectful attitude, while demonstrating extensive experience managing and treating a variety of patient populations and conditions.


Outside of work, John is a family man and very proud of his wife, three young children, and his Italian heritage. He certainly enjoys spending time with his family and friends, travelling, plus maintaining an active lifestyle. He enjoys watching and playing many sports including soccer, hockey, football, basketball, baseball, tennis, and swimming.


Chiroprodist (Foot Specialist)

Omar Qureshi

Chiropodist, Clinical Director

Omar Qureshi was born and raised in Toronto Ontario attending York University where he completed his undergraduate degree in Cell Biology in 1998. He graduated from the Michener School of Health and Applied Sciences in 2001 in Chiropody. Omar has been practising as a Chiropodist since 2001 with Residency programs at the Toronto General Hospital and Toronto Rehab. As a Foot Specialist Mr. Qureshi has a special interest in Abnormal Biomechanics of the Foot.


Omar has had vast experience working in various Clinical settings including Family Practise and Rehabilitation Centres. Omar has lectured on Foot related Pathomechanics and its impact throughout the body incorporating his lecture into Health Wellness talks to various businesses. His lectures have also been focused towards Chiropractors, Physiotherapists and other Regulated Health Care Providers helping to advance the Podiatric Medicine component of their Practises. 


Mr. Qureshi has worked in various capacities offering services from young children to College Level Athletes. He has worked with the Bounce basketball program in Brampton Ontario which helped develop Canadian youth for USA College level and the NBA.



During his down time, Omar enjoys golfing and writing.


Karim Ravji

Chiropodist

Karim Ravji attained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree specializing in both the surgical and non-surgical treatment of foot disorders. He obtained a Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto He then attended Temple University Philadelphia for the degree Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Additional training was obtained in a surgical residency with the Department of Orthopedics at Yale University School of Medicine.

Karim’s goal is to diagnose, treat and prevent foot conditions to allow his patients to maintain or return to their normal lifestyle.

Hirvi Shah is a dedicated and experienced physiotherapist registered with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. With over 9 years of expertise, Hirvi is committed to evidence-based practice, ensuring patients receive the most current and effective treatments.


Hirvi excels and specializes in the following areas-

Through a combination of hands-on techniques, targeted exercises, and education, Hirvi works closely with each client to address their unique needs and challenges. Whether you’re dealing with pelvic pain, incontinence, pregnancy-related issues, or post-surgical recovery, she can guide you towards a path of improved pelvic health and enhanced quality of life.


Hirvi has a special interest in pediatric physiotherapy, addressing conditions such as Cerebral palsy, delayed milestones, autism, Hypotonic babies, torticollis, plagiocephaly, and prematurity. She utilizes specialized techniques including Bobath technique, neurodevelopmental therapy, and sensory integration.


Outside her professional life, Hirvi enjoys swimming, biking and travelling.



Zen Sutherland

Physiotherapist

Zen is a Registered Physiotherapist and a Certified Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner. With more than 25 years of experience, she has dedicated herself to delivering direct patient care and has contributed significantly to the education and mentorship of Physiotherapy students. She is committed to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice to ensure patients receive the latest and most effective treatments available.

Zen completed her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1998 in the Philippines. She began her career in Physiotherapy in her home country, with a focus on teaching, mentorship and direct patient care. In 2003, she moved to Canada to further her education and continue her career in Physiotherapy.

Zen has been providing services in the Oshawa area for over 14 years, operating within a multidisciplinary practice alongside physicians, specialists, and other allied health professionals. Her areas of expertise include musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sports injury rehabilitation, pre/post orthopedic surgery rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, and post-concussion assessment and management. Additionally, she holds certifications as a GLA:D therapist for individuals with hip and knee osteoarthritis, as a Bonefit specialist for those diagnosed with osteoporosis, and as an Acupuncture and Dry Needling Provider. Throughout her career, she consistently demonstrates both respect and compassion towards her patients, while maintaining a professional relationship and ensuring the provision of excellent care.

In her personal time, Zen engages in church and outdoor activities, enjoys gardening, cooking healthy meals, and values quality time with her husband and two children.


Zakirhusen Moria

Physiotherapist

Resourceful and innovative in restoring maximum range of movement previously limited by accident, illness, or aging. Zakir works to provide the highest quality care for his patients to ease pain, build strength, and improve flexibility and quality of life.

Zakir has been treating since 2018. After doing his bachelor of physiotherapy in 2009, he did his post graduation in orthopaedic and sports medicine from India (2012). He has vast experience working in India for 7 years before migrating to Canada in 2016. He works with patients from a variety of age groups and injuries. Zakir’s philosophy has been to work with patient’s injuries and their wellness through education, hands-on approach and creating structured home exercise plans. Outside of work, he is passionate about travelling and exploring different countries as well as camping.


Massage Therapists

Paula Crebbin

Registered Massage Therapist, Certified Shiatsu Therapist

Paula graduated from the Shiatsu School of Canada in 2002 and has been working as a Certified Shiatsu Therapist ever since. She is the first blind individual to be trained in Shiatsu Therapy outside of Japan. Paula added Registered Massage Therapy to her practice in 2018. She has developed a combination of both modalities to offer a truly unique style of treatment that has garnered her an international following. Paula specializes in nerve pain, autoimmune disorders, cervical spine and rotator cuff injuries. Paula currently is awaiting her new guide dog who will accompany her to work.
